Yeah, last journal entry was February 2012 and a lot has changed since then.  I'm about to be done with college for good and will launch into a more professional career.  Now I'm debating whether I want to create a new deviantArt with a better username (better than this one I came up with when I was only 12 years old) or still just keep skeena-cabbit but just remove a whole lot of old artwork and journal entries.  I find myself still attached to this account since I've had it more than 10 years now.  A third option would be to get a premium membership for the sole purpose of being able to change my member name.  

Seriously, I haven't updated the journal since 2009!!!! Though I have posted a few deviations since then.

A lot happened since then.  I took a bunch of classes at a local community college.  And then I transferred to an actual university and I'm now working on my BFA.  

I'm now 21.  Whoa.

I've also grown a lot emotionally/mentally but I really don't feel like talking about it.  I had a lot of really stupid feelings that people shouldn't really have to know.

I spend too much time on tumblr now but I'm not going to post it here because I'm not ready for my watchers to see how crazy and immature I am still.

I don't feel like doing that thing I used to do with my dA journals where I have a bunch of icons anymore.  

So yeah, I had those sketches I promised years ago to do still and that's probably why I never bothered to update the journals anymore. I'll post them here eventually.  Though first, I'll have to take pictures of some of my more recent stuff and upload them.  Be prepared for a deviation overhaul pretty soon.

That's pretty much it really.

Kinda sad I can summarize the last three years of my life like this.

News

Yeah you read that right.  

First off, sometime in the near future I will be cleaning out the account again.  Comment on stuff or I just might delete some of the really old entries that I feel doesn't represent myself anymore (try some of the stuff from four-six years ago).

Second off, after I'm done with the account cleaning, I will upload some past art projects and stuff, just to get things moving.

Thirdly, I'll finally get around to doing those damn sketches that have been lingering for almost a year now (actually maybe even more O_o).

Fourth, uh in my personal life, I started college.  Yay me.

And one more thing, I'll edit the friends stuff on the bottom of the journals, I haven't updated that for yonks!

In case you haven't noticed, I've been on the biggest artist block of my life.  I don't know what it is, I just have been feeling burnt out and whenever I start something, I'm never motivated to finish it. I do believe I'm sorta getting out of it so hopefully I'll have something new to post.  

Also a reason why I haven't been posting anything is because my tablet has been acting rather funny and I need to look up what's wrong with it because I can't make a competent digital art piece with it acting in this manner.  I do hope nothing's wrong with it because I don't want to go and save a whole lot of money again to get a new one.

I keep on thinking of getting a new account to start clean but I really don't want to leave this account.  I like the "six years and still going" status on this account and I can't leave it.  

It's pretty sad because I realized that this is my first entry in 2009.  Oh my gawd! It took me seven months to actually post an entry? Damn I suck.  I need to kick myself in the butt and start updating my dA regularly like I used to.
